In this season of thankfulness, we share our warmest greetings and gratitude for the students, faculty, and staff who make up our University community. UVM is a special place and we so appreciate being a part of the a community that prioritizes health and the environment. We look forward to working with you all again after the break.
A UVM Students makes good use of the FabLab sewing machine during a recent workshop. We love it when students use tour soldering station and sewing machine to to fix, mend, and repair items, and keep them out of the waste stream. Many UVM students are concerned with the environmental impact of fast fashion and they proactively seek ways to counter its negative impacts through repairing clothing, buying used clothing, and remixing worn clothing.
